This Refund Policy explains how refunds, returns, cancellations, chargebacks, and disputes are handled when using AutoSparesZone.

By submitting a parts request or engaging with a supplier through AutoSparesZone, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

2. Important Platform Disclaimer

AutoSparesZone is not a seller and does not collect payments, process transactions, or hold customer funds.

  • All purchases are made directly between the buyer and the supplier
  • All refund decisions are made solely by the supplier
  • AutoSparesZone does not issue refunds under any circumstance

AutoSparesZone’s role is limited to facilitating introductions and communication.

3. When Refunds May Be Available

Refund eligibility depends entirely on the supplier’s individual return policy. In general, refunds may be considered in limited circumstances such as:

  • Incorrect part shipped (supplier error)
  • Part damaged during shipping (carrier-related)
  • Part not as described in the supplier’s written quote

All refund requests must be reviewed and approved by the supplier.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are commonly not available in the following cases:

  • Buyer ordered the incorrect part
  • VIN or vehicle information provided was incorrect or incomplete
  • Part does not fit due to trim, engine, or production differences
  • Electrical or electronic parts once installed
  • Parts returned without supplier authorization
  • Buyer changes their mind after purchase
  • Cosmetic wear consistent with used or salvage parts

5. Used, Salvage & Reconditioned Parts Disclaimer

Most parts sourced through AutoSparesZone are used, salvaged, refurbished, or reconditioned unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Normal wear, rust, scratches, or discoloration are expected
  • Mileage is often estimated and not guaranteed
  • Photos may be representative rather than exact

Cosmetic condition alone is not grounds for a refund.

6. Return Authorization Process

Before returning any part, buyers must:

  1. Contact the supplier directly
  2. Request written return authorization (RMA)
  3. Follow the supplier’s return instructions precisely

Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned at the buyer’s expense.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Responsibility for return shipping depends on the reason for return:

  • Supplier error: Supplier may cover return shipping
  • Buyer error: Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs
  • Freight returns: Crating and insurance may be required

Original shipping fees are typically non-refundable.

8. Inspection & Condition Requirements

Returned parts must:

  • Be in the same condition as received
  • Not be installed, modified, or altered
  • Include all original components and documentation

Parts showing signs of installation or damage may be denied refund eligibility.

9. Refund Amounts & Deductions

Approved refunds may be subject to:

  • Restocking fees
  • Inspection fees
  • Shipping deductions
  • Damage or handling deductions

The refunded amount may be less than the original purchase price.

10. Refund Timeframes

Refund processing times vary by supplier and payment method.

  • Inspection may take 3–10 business days
  • Refunds may take additional time to post
  • Bank and card issuers may impose delays

AutoSparesZone does not control refund timelines.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Buyers are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with suppliers before filing chargebacks.

Excessive chargebacks may result in:

  • Supplier refusal to do business
  • Account restrictions
  • Permanent platform access termination

AutoSparesZone does not represent buyers in chargeback disputes.

12. Shipping Damage Claims

Buyers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

  • Visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt
  • Photos must be taken before opening packaging
  • Claims must be reported within 24 hours

Failure to follow these steps may void refund eligibility.

13. Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before shipment and with supplier approval.

  • Processing fees may apply
  • Prepared or pulled parts may not be cancellable
  • Freight bookings may be non-refundable

14. No Labor or Consequential Coverage

Refunds do not cover:

  • Labor or installation costs
  • Towing or diagnostic charges
  • Rental vehicles
  • Lost time or income

15. AutoSparesZone Limitation of Responsibility

AutoSparesZone shall not be held responsible for:

  • Supplier refund decisions
  • Returned shipment delays
  • Denied refund requests
  • Payment processor actions

16. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
